Day 1: Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Cave – Riverside Cycling Experience

Upon arrival at Dong Hoi Train Station, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to Dong Hoi city for breakfast before beginning your journey into the heart of Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, approximately 45 km away.
Phong Nha Cave Exploration – The First Cave Wonder of Vietnam
Begin your discovery of the legendary Phong Nha Cave, famously known as the “First Cave Wonder” of Vietnam. This remarkable site features the world’s longest underground river system, along with extraordinary formations of stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millions of years.
From the Phong Nha Tourism Center, embark on a peaceful 4 km dragon boat cruise along the Son River, surrounded by limestone mountains, rice fields, and rural village life. The journey itself offers a serene introduction to the natural beauty of the region.
Upon entering the cave, experience a breathtaking underground world where nature has sculpted magnificent chambers and surreal rock formations. Your guide will share insights into the geological evolution of the cave and its cultural significance.
After the visit, return by boat to the pier for a short rest.
