Your day begins at 08:00 AM with a pickup from your hotel in Saigon for a 2-hour scenic drive to the Mekong Delta town of Cai Be.
Arrive at the Cai Be Jetty around 10:00 AM, where you’ll be welcomed aboard a charming traditional sampan with cold towels and a refreshing drink. As the boat cruises through the delta, enjoy the lush surroundings and observe life along the riverbanks. Snack on seasonal fruits and hot tea as you sail.
Cruise to Tan Phong Island, where you’ll hop into a small wooden rowing boat to explore narrow mangrove-shaded canals—a serene, almost hidden world. Back on the sampan, make your way to visit a beautiful 19th-century ancient house, and witness local life along the river.
Along the way, stop at small family-run workshops to see the making of local Mekong treats such as coconut candy, puffed rice, and more. These stops offer a unique look into cottage industries that are the lifeblood of the region, and yes, tasting is encouraged!
Your journey continues to Le Longanier, a gorgeous French colonial villa, for a local meal set amidst tropical gardens.
After lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk along a shaded canal path to Ba Bon Bridge, where your vehicle awaits for your drive back to Saigon. Expected return to your hotel by 17:30 PM.

Gegen 10:00 Uhr erreichen Sie den Anleger von Cai Be, wo Sie an Bord eines charmanten traditionellen Sampans mit kalten Erfrischungstüchern und einem Begrüßungsgetränk willkommen geheißen werden.
Während das Boot gemächlich durch das Delta fährt, genießen Sie die üppige Landschaft und beobachten das Leben entlang der Flussufer. Dazu werden saisonale Früchte und heißer Tee serviert.
Die Fahrt führt weiter zur Insel Tan Phong, wo Sie in ein kleines Holzruderboot umsteigen, um die schmalen, von Mangroven beschatteten Kanäle zu erkunden – eine ruhige, beinahe verborgene Welt. Zurück an Bord des Sampans besuchen Sie ein wunderschönes historisches Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und erleben den Alltag der Menschen am Fluss.
Unterwegs halten Sie an kleinen familiengeführten Werkstätten, in denen lokale Spezialitäten des Mekong-Deltas wie Kokosnussbonbons, Puffreis und weitere Köstlichkeiten hergestellt werden. Diese Besuche geben einen authentischen Einblick in die traditionellen Handwerksbetriebe der Region – und natürlich darf auch probiert werden!
Anschließend geht die Reise weiter nach Le Longanier, einer prachtvollen französischen Kolonialvilla, wo Sie ein lokales Mittagessen inmitten tropischer Gärten genießen. Nach dem Essen unternehmen Sie einen entspannten Spaziergang entlang eines schattigen Kanalwegs bis zur Ba-Bon-Brücke, wo Ihr Fahrzeug für die Rückfahrt nach Saigon bereitsteht.
Die Rückkehr zu Ihrem Hotel ist gegen 17:30 Uhr vorgesehen.

Llegará al muelle de Cai Be alrededor de las 10:00 AM, donde será recibido a bordo de un encantador sampán tradicional con toallas frías y una bebida refrescante.

El recorrido continúa hacia Le Longanier, una magnífica villa colonial francesa, donde disfrutará de un almuerzo local rodeado de jardines tropicales. Después del almuerzo, realizará un paseo relajante por un sendero sombreado junto al canal hasta el puente Ba Bon, donde su vehículo le estará esperando para el regreso a Saigón.
