Stroll through the lush gardens where local farmers continue to cultivate the land using traditional methods passed down through generations. You’ll have the opportunity to handpick fresh herbs such as Vietnamese mint and saw-tooth coriander, followed by a tasting of a special herbal drink at a local home.
Continue to a nearby local village market, where you will explore the vibrant atmosphere and purchase fresh ingredients with your guide. Learn about essential Vietnamese spices and produce, including star anise, cardamom, banana flower, and water spinach.
Arrive at the Red Bridge Cooking School, beautifully set along the river. After a short refreshment break, begin your hands-on cooking class led by experienced chefs. Each dish is first demonstrated before you recreate it yourself, using traditional techniques and fresh local ingredients.
