Depart from your hotel in Hue and enjoy a scenic drive south through coastal plains and countryside landscapes for approximately 1.5 hours to reach Bach Ma National Park, once a French hill station retreat.
Upon arrival, continue ascending by vehicle along winding mountain roads to the summit area. As you climb higher, notice the refreshing drop in temperature and the changing vegetation, from tropical lowland forests to dense mountain jungle.
Begin your exploration with a guided trek along forest trails leading to the spectacular Do Quyen Waterfall. The walk takes you through lush greenery, where you may hear birdsong and spot unique flora along the way. Reaching the waterfall viewpoint, admire the dramatic cascade plunging over 300 meters into the forest below—an impressive and photogenic natural highlight.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the national park.
After lunch, take a short walk to Hai Vong Dai (Sea Observation Tower), one of the highest viewpoints in the park. From here, enjoy sweeping panoramic views over misty mountains, dense forests, lagoons, and the distant coastline. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Hue city far in the distance. Spend some time relaxing in the cool mountain air, taking photos, or simply soaking in the tranquility of this untouched natural environment.
In the mid-afternoon, begin your descent and return journey to Hue. Arrive back at your hotel in the late afternoon.
