Embark on a memorable day trip from Hanoi to the sacred Perfume Pagoda (Chua Huong), located about 60 km southwest of the city. Set amidst lush rice paddies, limestone karsts, and peaceful villages of the Red River Delta, this spiritual destination is one of northern Vietnam’s most revered pilgrimage sites.
Upon arrival, board a traditional rowing boat and glide along the tranquil Yen River, surrounded by dramatic limestone scenery. Stop at Den Trinh before continuing to the base of Huong Tich Mountain. From here, follow a scenic stone path to Thien Tru Pagoda, known as the “Pagoda Leading to Heaven,” built in the 17th century and dedicated to Quan Am.
Continue your journey uphill to Huong Tich Cave, the most important shrine in the complex, where breathtaking views and a serene spiritual atmosphere await. For those who prefer, a cable car option (included)
