Day 1: Tokyo Arrival
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met by your guide at the airport and transferred to the city using public transportation. After dropping off your luggage at the hotel, the adventure begins with a visit to the bustling Shibuya Crossing, one of the world’s busiest pedestrian intersections and a quintessential Tokyo photo spot. Continue on to the historic Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, the city’s oldest and most famous Buddhist temple, known for its vibrant shopping street, Nakamise-dori. Next, dive into the electric energy of Akihabara, the mecca of anime, manga, and electronic goods. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Japanese dinner to kick off your journey in style.

Day 2: Tokyo Disneyland (B)
Spend a full day immersed in fantasy and fun at Tokyo Disneyland, where you’ll enjoy iconic attractions, parades, and themed experiences. This is a self-guided day, and transportation costs are on your own. Be sure to plan your departure and return times based on park hours to make the most of your visit.

Day 3: Free Exploration Day (B)
Today is yours to explore Tokyo at your own pace. Whether you’re keen on shopping, café hopping, or discovering hidden neighborhoods, Tokyo offers endless possibilities.

Day 4: Bullet Train to Hiroshima (B)
Make your own way to Tokyo Station and board the Shinkansen bullet train bound for Hiroshima. Enjoy the comfort and speed of Japan’s famous rail system as the urban landscape gives way to scenic countryside views. Upon arrival, head to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the city.

Day 5: Sacred Island & Iconic Torii Gate (B)
Your guide will meet you at the hotel for a full-day guided excursion to Miyajima Island, reached via ferry. Visit the famous Itsukushima Shrine, known for its stunning “floating” Torii Gate, one of Japan’s most iconic images. Ride the Mt. Misen Ropeway for panoramic island views and perhaps a short hike to take in the peaceful forest atmosphere. Return to Hiroshima using public transport.

Day 6: Half Day Cultural Journey (B)
Make your own way to Hiroshima Station and board the Shinkansen to Kyoto. Upon arrival, meet your guide at the station and set off for a half-day cultural journey. Visit the shimmering Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), one of Kyoto’s most beautiful and iconic Zen temples. Stroll through the atmospheric Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, a peaceful forest path lined with soaring bamboo stalks. In the evening, enjoy a refined Kaiseki dinner, showcasing traditional Japanese haute cuisine.

Day 7: Kyoto Temples, Tradition & the Gion District (B)
Meet your guide and begin the day at the majestic Fushimi Inari Taisha, renowned for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates. Next, explore the serene Ryoanji Temple, home to one of Japan’s most famous Zen rock gardens. Take part in a traditional tea ceremony, an elegant practice that embodies Japanese hospitality and culture. Conclude your day in the historic Gion District, famous for its preserved wooden machiya houses and occasional glimpses of geisha.

Day 9: Kyoto at Leisure or Optional Nara Excursion (B)
Today is free for independent exploration, or you may choose to join an optional full-day excursion to Nara.
Optional Nara Day Trip:
Meet your guide at the hotel and travel by public transportation to Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital. Visit Kofukuji Temple, stroll through Nara Deer Park where friendly deer roam freely, and explore Kasuga Taisha Shrine with its iconic lantern-lined pathways. Conclude at Todaiji Temple, home to the impressive Great Buddha. Return to Kyoto in the evening.
