Cross the Muong Hoa River and continue trekking through the valley to Lao Chai Village, home to the Black Hmong community. Here, learn about traditional farming methods and daily life, including the full cycle of rice cultivation—from sowing seeds to harvesting and preparing meals.
Continue your walk-through lush rice paddies toward Ta Van Village, where the Giay ethnic group resides in traditional stilt houses.

After lunch, resume your trek along the river and cross a small suspension bridge. Nearby, discover a fascinating site of ancient rock carvings, featuring engravings of people, houses, and decorative motifs believed to date

From here, hike uphill to the main road where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Sapa town.
