Morning or Afternoon:
Meet your guide at your hotel in Sapa and depart on a short drive south toward the stunning Muong Hoa Valley, home to the largest rice terraces in the region.
Begin your trek downhill into the valley, where your guide will introduce you to the traditional rice cultivation process, from planting to harvesting and its role in local daily life.
Depending on the season (especially from May to October), you may witness farmers actively working in the fields—planting or harvesting rice—offering an authentic and immersive experience.
Continue trekking through scenic rice paddies to Lao Chai Village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic group. Learn about their strong cultural identity, traditional indigo clothing, and unique language.
Proceed to Ta Van Village, where the Giay ethnic minority resides. Visit a local Catholic church and observe the community’s traditional wooden and bamboo houses, reflecting their distinct way of life.
